Same time last year I was busy working on Garden project, and welcoming friends to come visit me in London; this year, I am busy spending all the possible time to say good-bye to my dear friends in London. There's one thing planned for sure in April 2014- I'm watching the musical Matilda... It's been crazily fun, but I have no regrets at all. Thanks guys!!! xxx

Mediterranean moments
Barcelona- it's the type of place that got the blessing from above. The city is filled with charming architecture, delicious food, lovely weather, and friendly atmosphere; with a few surprises- streets are wider than I imagined; weather is cooler than I expected; Spanish people are more difficult to recognised than I though. I indeed fulfilled my purpose of the short trip, which is 'to meet Gaudi'. It was amazing to finally see his legacy, especially after I have done some research about Sagrada Familia (Church of Holy Family/聖家堂). I had so much joy when I found certain details on the cathedral that I was aware of while doing research. Score ~
May Sagrada Familia can reach its completion in 2016 (a century after Gaudi passed away) despite all the financial difficulties.

Hola Bella
I used to admire my parents so much when we were travelling abroad, especially when we were at the airport doing all the administration bits. I remember watching them dealing with all kinds of "airport people"- the check-in, security check and the custom desk seemed so complicated then. I cannot recall exactly when I could start travelling without their accompany. Even now I'm a much more experienced traveller, my heart still raises up a bit when I'm on the way to the airport. But I can't wait to meet you- Barcelona!

Yes, David Bowie is here
How inspiring can a single person be? After all of his achievements since the 1970's, he is continuing on making world a better place. Not only is he a musicians, he is also a writer, an actor, a painter... he is truly an artist. He is so huge, yet he says 'you are all wonderful, give me your hands' in his concerts. I guess, what is great about David Bowie is that his work understands mankind, evokes response, and he understands these response too. He is such a big man with a big heart. Sometimes I wonder, what can textile do for this world apart from the practical reason... isn't it quite a romantic reason in itself already?
